Michael

Chapter 8
School continued, fishing and crabbing on Saturday and sleep overs on the week-end. My life had done a complete 180 degree turn. I was happy, I was in love and best of all he was in love with me. I could picture Michael smiling in my head.
"Aunty, I'm staying at Nohr's tonight unless you prefer I stay home."
"No, I think its good for you to rotate with Nohr. He has been a good friend but what are you going to do when he starts attending the Gymnasium?"
"I don't know. I know I'll miss him but I'll see him when he's home and we'll keep in contact. I think he'll miss me as well."
"Yes, I'm sure he will. Maybe this will be good for both of you. This is the first boy who has shown an interest in you. Being parted will give you both a chance to think about your relationship and where you want it to go. It won't be long before you'll need to think about the Gymnasium or technical school."
"You're right. Separation will test our love for each other. There's something I read about true love being tested to determine if it will last the time. Maybe this is what will happen, I know how I feel."
Aunty just smiled as she gave Stephan a hug as he left to go to Nohr's.
Later that evening laying together in bed, "Nohr, you're going to be going away to school, I'm going to miss you."
"I'm going to miss you too but I'll be home for breaks and holidays. We'll just make the best of the time I'm home."
"I'm afraid you'll find someone else."
"You don't need to be afraid of that. I wasn't looking when I found you and I'm quite happy to have you in my life. I'll miss you that's for sure but we'll stay in touch. I love you Stephan and I'm not the type of guy who goes looking for other guys when I love you."
